Feeling grateful can be hard. It’s easy to get caught up in all the things we want to be different. A nicer car, a better house, less traffic. Gratitude, like creativity, is a muscle. It needs to be worked. The more we find opportunities to be grateful in day to day life, the easier it becomes.
Making a gratitude list is a great way to practice this. It allows us to center ourselves, and to recognize all the things we already have. As we created our list, we were surprised how many things came to mind.
You can get as creative with your list as you want. Make this an end-of-the-month ritual, or try picking out the best parts of every day. You can make this a page in your journal, or scribble it down on the back of a napkin—it’s all up to you!
Feeling proud of your list? Show us on Instagram using the hashtag #MakeStuffFeelBetter.
